The suites incorporate SageCRM and Sage MAS Fixed Assets applications and business intelligence capabilities in a single package with simplified user-based licensing and pricing.

Sage will begin selling the suites through Sage MAS channel partners in late June. Sage recently debuted a similar package based on its Sage Accpac accounting applications.

Earlier this year Sage released the Sage CRM Solutions 2010 strategy outlining plans to integrate its ERP and CRM applications to help channel partners and customers better link front- and back-office operations and improve business workflows. The blueprint is also expected to make it easier for customers to use, say, the Act contact management application with Sage CRM and SalesLogix applications, or migrate from one application to another.

Sage 2010: A CRM Odyssey

Last week I attended Sage Insights - Sage Software's annual partner conference. It was my first time attending the event, and unfortunately for me I only was able to make one day of it. But it was enough time for me to get some insight (pun intended) into Sage's CRM strategy they're rolling out over the next few years. They call it Sage CRM Strategy 2010. Sage partners seemed pretty positive with some of the changes outlined in the partner programs that are aimed at making it easier for them to "engage with Sage". Apparently many felt like all partners were treated the same, ...[Read Full Article]

New CEO's Sage Advice: Listen

Sage Latest News about Sage Software Software owned the CRM vendor conference spotlight this week, with Insights 2008, held in suburban Washington, D.C. That doesn't seem to matter.

"Swenson is from the telco space and is very smart. It is also important to note that she is not a software person, but she has great instincts; I would even say CRM instincts. To her credit, Swenson has not done anything rash. She has refused to make change for the sake of change and instead has embarked on a long-term outreach effort.
